Museum status
Directions
The museum has been closed since June 2023 because of a property issue. The issue is that the museum resides on the Spear property and it has been difficult to legally separate its four acres from the rest of the property. The collection is a 501c3/nonprofit entity.. The Spear sons have never "run" the museum. There has always been a board of directors that manages the collection. Because the collection is a nonprofit entity, it 'belongs" to the public and is not the property of the Spear family. The family disagrees. The board of directors continues to be in charge of the collection despite the fact that the family has literally locked the board members out of the museum. The board members are trying to gain access to the collection and to come to an agreement with the family to separate the museum acreage from the rest of the property. To date, this has not been possible.
From the north, travel south through Marysville over the Yuba River, immediately exit #20B for North Beale Road, Continue straight, following signs for Beale A.F.B. to the third traffic light, turn left (east) on North Beale Road. Travel six miles to A Road on the right. The road is opposite a small building with a red radar antenna on the roof. Continue to the end of the Road.
From the south, travel north on Hwy 99 or 65 to 70, exit right at #20A on Feather River Blvd to traffic light, right on North Beale Road to second traffic light, left (east) on North Beale Road. Travel six miles to A Road on the right. The road is opposite a small building with a red radar antenna on the roof. Continue to end of the road.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Museum of the Forgotten Warriors and Library Center is to be a refuge of camaraderie and healing and to preserve the legacy of our courageous veterans, their families, and the rich history of our nation's military in order to educate and inspire future generations through their stories, sacrifice, and valor.

Tri Counties Blue Star Moms
A few of the eighty-four floor to ceiling glass cases displaying 1,322 donated items from 996 individuals and 3,683 purchased and undocumented items. In addition, there is a rough count of 13,289, uniforms, caps, models, photographs, flags, badges, pins, and other items displayed in racks, on the walls, the ceilings, and the museum grounds.
